Tibet
Nearly two decades have passed since photographer Brynn Bruijn was asked to document Tibet's fading Buddhist art.
During a six-month expedition to Chinese-controlled Tibet, she focused on the lushly colored murals of the Shalu monastery, & recorded the artistic jewels of this ancient faith by only candlelight. Fourteen of Bruijn's photos will be shown at C.W. Smith Imported Antiques, 1260 Third St. S. in Naples. The exhibit, "Discovering Shalu, Tibetan Images of Enlightenment," runs through March 10. 2008
